It's getting close to March 21st, which means Major League Baseball is arriving very soon. I want to make my World Series prediction on here. Last year, I chose a Washington National - Los Angeles Angels of Anahiem World Series, with the Angels winning it. Back in 2011, I put a few dollars each on two different teams: the Milwaukee Brewers at 25 - 1; and St. Louis Cardinals at 20 - 1. Having cashed in on St. Louis, I was confident that I could pick another darkhorse, so I went with the Los Angeles Dodgers, at 40 - 1. The 2012 season started out very well for the Dodgers, as they had the Major's best record for the first few months, and then they came back to the pack before the trading deadline, when they acquired some big name players in some block buster trades, however, those great players didn't gel together in time by the end of the playoff race, and didn't even make the post season.
Right now, I'm not sure with whom I will go this season. The Angels and Nationals are more a darkhorse this year than last, and I've been thinking about them. I also like Texas a little, however, Nolan Ryan's departure seems like a cloud hanging over the Rangers. I think that the Rangers have good personnel, although I'm not sure how the team will respond to how the GM and Ryan parted. Right now, I'll leave this post, and make my prediction later.

Well, it's less than a week away from opening day - except for the LA Dodgers and Arizona Diamondbacks - and I don't know with whom to play this year. I understand that many people are picking the Mets to win the NL East. Personally, I would go with Washington in that division. Also, I feel that Pittsburgh will win less than 80 games this season. I'll come back with more later.
